On February 11, the Investigation Police Agency - Son La Provincial Police issued an emergency detention order for Tran Ngoc Hoang (born 1989), residing in Nam Phu commune, Hanoi City.
Hoang is being investigated for causing an accident and then fleeing.
Previously, at about 4:30 am on February 9, at Km 289+200 National Highway 6 (belonging to Na Ha 2 village, Chieng Mung commune), a traffic accident occurred.
At this time, the truck collided with a car running in the direction of Hanoi - Son La driven by Mr. T.V. H. On the car were also Ms. D. T. V (born 2002) and child P.T. D (born 2025), both residing in Chieng Sinh ward.
After the collision, the car was thrown into a stream, flooded, and heavily damaged. Mr. H, Ms. V, and child D were injured. The truck fled immediately after causing the accident.
Upon receiving the report, the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police coordinated with units to investigate. After 6 pm, functional forces identified and arrested Hoang.
Hoang drove a red truck with license plate 29H-856.30.
At the investigating agency, Hoang admitted to the violation. The case is being further processed according to legal regulations.
