Previously, on December 20, Dakrong District Medical Center received a 6-year-old patient, residing in Ruong village (Huong Hiep commune, Dakrong district) with symptoms of pain and bleeding in the ear; an endoscopy was performed and found ticks inside. Afterwards, the endoscopy team nurses removed a swarm of ticks from the girl's ear.
It is known that this type of tick often parasitizes dogs and cats. The patient's family said that the child often comes into contact with dogs.
