At about 5:10 a.m. on September 13, Mr. Phan Van Thanh, residing in Group 3, Phuoc Hao Hamlet, My Thuan Commune, discovered a newborn baby boy in a jacket on the side of his house.
Next to the child was a handwritten letter, sent with the content: "Em Soc 12.9.2025. Hi, Uncle, I know you are a good person, so I dare to ask you to raise Soc. I still go to school but I have no money to take care of him, so I asked my aunt to raise him...
After that, Mr. Thanh called Mr. Nguyen Van Ho, a member of the Security and Order Protection Team of Phuoc Hao Hamlet, My Thuan Commune, to receive the incident.
After discussing with everyone in the neighborhood, Mr. Thanh's family temporarily handed the baby over to Mr. Nguyen Van Ho's family for temporary care.
The leader of My Thuan Commune Police said that although Mr. Ho is in difficult circumstances, he still takes care of and raises the baby. Within 30 days, if no relatives come to claim the baby, the procedures will be carried out so that Mr. Ho's family can legally adopt the baby.
