Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee (An Giang) has just announced the search for biological parents for abandoned children.
According to initial information, at about 7:30 pm on August 21, Phu Quoc Special Zone Police received a report from Ms. Tran Thi Tu Anh about the discovery of an abandoned child in front of her house in Group 7, Suoi Lon Duong To neighborhood, Phu Quoc special zone.
The abandoned baby boy, about 4 months old, was placed in a blue plastic bag with a bag of supplies and a piece of paper with a few lines of words asking someone to take care of him. The baby boy was then temporarily cared for by Ms. Tran Thi Tu Anh's family.
Ms. Tran Thi Tu Anh said that in the request for custody, the mother said that she was unable to raise her child, and at birth she had no money to pay hospital fees, so the mother hugged her child and ran away. The mother expressed her hope that a good person would adopt the baby.
Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee announced that anyone who is the child's biological father or mother should come to Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee to carry out procedures to reclaim the child.
Within 7 working days, from August 22 to the end of August 31, if no one comes to pick up the baby, Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee will proceed to make a Birth Certificate for the baby and carry out procedures for adoption, when someone adopts the baby.
