Mai Dich Ward Police (Cau Giay District, Hanoi) has just supported a lost 3rd grade child to return home safely.
According to Major Nguyen Quang Chinh - a police officer of Mai Dich ward, at around 8:15 p.m. on April 25, two people took a child to the ward police station to report that the child was lost, could not remember the home address, could only remember the father's name as N.D.A, and the mother of N.T.H.
Receiving information from the people, the on-duty staff quickly asked and identified the child as N.A.P (born in 2016).
"At that time, the child said that in the past, he had seen pictures of the parade in Ho Chi Minh City, so he wanted to go in and watch it. After finishing school, he arbitrarily took a bicycle and hid it from his parents to make the journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City," Major Chinh shared.

Determining that the child was lost, Major Chinh tried to ask for information and identified him as living in Phuc Tho district (Hanoi).
Immediately afterwards, Mai Dich Ward Police contacted the Vong Xuyen Commune Police and Vong Xuyen B Primary School (Phuc Tho District) to verify the information, search, and at the same time, post it on information channels to find a way to contact the child's parents.
"At first, he refused to say his home address, then asked to sleep overnight, asking me to look after the bicycle so that I could continue the journey the next morning," Major Chinh shared.
At around 10:00 p.m. the same day, receiving information from Mai Dich Ward Police, the child's father, Mr. N.D.A, arrived at the police station and picked him up.

According to Mr. N.D.A, he and his family did not know that their child intended to cycle to Ho Chi Minh City to watch parades and parades. Since 6pm the same day, the child could not return home, the whole family was very worried and organized a search.
Happy that his child had returned home safely, Mr. A was very moved and wrote a letter of thanks to the Mai Dich ward police.
