On August 12, the monitoring delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan - Deputy Head of the delegation had a working session with Becamex IDC Corporation in Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
According to Becamex IDC Corporation, in early 2025, the enterprise and its members have started two key transport infrastructure projects, the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway with a total investment of VND 17,116 billion and the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 with a total investment of VND 21,702 billion.

Of which, the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project is 52.1 km long, 6.5 km remained intact, and 45.6 km of expressway was renewed. The project has been under construction since February 2025. Currently, only 9.5 km has been handed over within Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company, 36.1 km has not been handed over. Becamex IDC Corporation is organizing the construction of the section with available land.
The 47.4 km long Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project was also started in June 2025. However, the project still does not have a site for construction.

According to the report of Becamex IDC Corporation, due to objective and subjective factors, compensation for clearance and handover of the site for this project has not been as scheduled. This leads to the risk of project delays.
The leaders of Becamex IDC Corporation recommended that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee speed up the handover of the above two projects to continue implementing the project, ensuring the progress committed to the Government.

At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan - Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation requested relevant departments, branches and 9 communes and wards where the project passes through to closely coordinate with Becamex IDC Corporation. Thereby, removing obstacles, implementing compensation, resettlement, and handing over the site so that the contractor can ensure the committed progress.
