Son La Department of Construction announced that from 5:00 AM on June 14, Van Yen ferry terminal at Km27 on National Highway 43 officially resumed transportation of people and vehicles after nearly a week of temporary suspension of operation.

Previously, from June 8, Van Yen ferry terminal had to temporarily suspend operations due to low water levels, not ensuring safe operating conditions.
To date, the water level at the ferry terminal has reached an elevation of 99.30m and continues to rise, meeting the requirements to put the ferry back into operation.
The Department of Construction requests the People's Committees of communes and wards along National Highway 43 to widely announce so that people can proactively circulate.
At the same time, transport units with routes passing through the area urgently restore operations, contributing to meeting travel and cargo transportation needs and ensuring traffic connection on the route.
