According to Lao Dong's records, at about 3 pm on February 20 (the 4th day of Tet), the atmosphere at the Western bus station (An Lac ward, Ho Chi Minh City) began to become crowded as buses from provinces continuously arrived at the station.

Many people said that they actively returned to the city early to avoid the crowded situation during the last Tet holidays and take advantage of playing in the city before going to work.

Ms. Nguyen Hong Loan (from Dong Thap) said: "Like every year, after celebrating Tet with my family, I take advantage of returning to Ho Chi Minh City early to avoid traffic jams and have time to rest to start work for the new year.
Running along National Highway 1, it was recorded that traffic was crowded but no congestion occurred, and vehicles moved conveniently.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong (from Ca Mau) said: "I came to Ho Chi Minh City early to take my children to visit Nguyen Hue flower street and Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens. Going early, the road is clear, I also feel more comfortable coming to Ho Chi Minh City.

It is expected that in the coming days, when the holiday gradually closes, the number of people returning to Ho Chi Minh City from the Mekong Delta provinces will continue to increase, especially on the last Tet holiday, before returning to work.
