On June 16, present at facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital in Liem Tuyen ward, Ninh Binh province, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, a large number of hospital officials and staff, along with workers, are urgently cleaning and disinfecting departments and rooms.
In the hospital rooms, the bed system has been installed and bed sheets and mattresses are clean. Air conditioning systems, cool fans, water filters... have also been installed. The hospital's pharmacy area has also been arranged with medicines ready for receiving patients for examination and treatment.
The patient reception area has also been installed with electronic screens to guide people to come for examination and treatment. Automatic reception kiosks have also been installed.
The area outside the hospital, the system of signs, traffic diversion, bus stops, sidewalks, green trees... has also been basically completed. The location of Bach Mai Hospital facility 2 is located on National Highway 21 and only about 1km from Liem Tuyen intersection (Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway), so it is very convenient for people to travel.
About 1km from Bach Mai Hospital facility 2 is the social housing project for hospital staff and employees, which is also being urgently implemented, expected to be completed in August 2026.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Xuan Co - Director of Bach Mai Hospital - said that in terms of human resources, Facility 2 is ready with 1,288 officials and employees. The medical team will be rotated between the two facilities to ensure professional quality, and the hospital will continue to train more resident doctors and nurses to meet long-term development needs.
Facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital in Ninh Binh will officially open and go into operation on June 26 with a scale of 1,000 beds, modern facilities and more than 11,000 technical categories belonging to 36 specialties.
Bach Mai Hospital, facility 2 in Ninh Binh, is expected to become a high-tech medical examination and treatment center of the Southern Red River Delta region, helping people not only local but also neighboring areas access high-quality medical services.
Bach Mai Hospital proposed that Ninh Binh province accelerate the construction of housing for officials, and support vehicles to transport staff from Phu Ly station to facility 2.
