According to the report of the Medical Works Project Management Board as of June 11, construction items, equipment installation, technical systems and fire prevention and fighting are being urgently completed at Bach Mai Hospital, facility 2 in Ninh Binh.
Bach Mai Hospital has also fully prepared human resources with 1,288 officials and employees ready to operate the new facility, and at the same time completed the necessary operating license procedures.
In addition, the hospital has proactively deployed many operational services such as bidding for support services, preparing medical supplies, testing chemicals, transportation vehicles and other necessary conditions. However, there are still some items that need to be accepted and completed before officially going into operation.
During the inspection of the implementation progress of Facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital in Ninh Binh on June 10, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan requested relevant units to focus on completing the remaining items, ensuring the hospital is put into operation according to the plan by the end of June.
The Minister called on units to continue to closely coordinate, promote the highest sense of responsibility to complete the remaining tasks, and be determined to put Facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital into operation on schedule.
Minister Dao Hong Lan emphasized that this is a project of particular importance to the health sector and people's health care work. The Minister requested relevant units to continue to closely monitor the progress, ensure the quality of the project and prevent delays.
In particular, fire prevention and fighting and completing legal procedures are identified as key tasks. The Minister requested units to closely coordinate with functional agencies to soon complete the appraisal, acceptance and issuance of necessary documents, ensuring that hospitals meet the conditions for safe and regulated operation.
In parallel with completing facilities, the Minister also requested Bach Mai Hospital to fully prepare human resources, medicines, medical supplies, information technology systems and conditions to serve medical examination and treatment. The general spirit is to deploy operations where conditions are sufficient, but must absolutely ensure professionalism, quality and safety for patients.
Facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital is invested with the goal of becoming a modern medical examination and treatment center, contributing to reducing the hospital's overload in Hanoi and improving access to high-quality medical services for people in the southern Red River Delta region and neighboring provinces.
When put into operation, the hospital is expected to receive treatment for many complex diseases, reduce pressure on central-level hospitals, and at the same time help people access specialized medical techniques right in their localities, saving time and treatment costs.
