Lao Cai - On November 11, the National Children's Hospital in collaboration with Bao Yen District General Hospital organized a voluntary program to examine and give gifts to children in Lang Nu.

Attending the working session in Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province were Dr. Phan Huu Phuc - Deputy Director of the National Children's Hospital; Dr. Tran Van Hoc - Chairman of the Trade Union of the National Children's Hospital and heads and deputy heads of departments of the National Children's Hospital.

From early morning, many children in Lang Nu (Phuc Khanh commune) and other communes affected by floods were brought by their parents to line up to register for medical examination.

During the medical examination, doctors organize specialized examinations in digestive and dermatological fields, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, blood pressure measurement, height and weight measurement, SP02 measurement... dispense free medicine according to the doctor's prescription and provide health consultation, guidance on knowledge and skills to prevent diseases; prevent accidents and injuries, personal hygiene, environmental hygiene and safe and appropriate nutrition for children.

Also during the working trip, the delegation of the National Children's Hospital visited, encouraged and presented 27 gifts to 27 households in Lang Nu village with a total value of more than 50 million VND.
