On the afternoon of March 2, Quang Tri Border Guard said that the squadron of the unit's patrol, control and supervision fishing activities at sea had just provided emergency care and treated a fisherman who had an accident while working at sea.
Previously, at 9:30 a.m. the same day, the squadron of patrol, control and supervision vessels on the sea fishing activities of the Quang Tri Border Guard, who were performing their duties at sea, received information and requested emergency care for fishermen in labor accidents on fishing vessel QT 9331 TS.
As soon as the information was received, the patrol team approached the fishing boat and took the fishermen to the Con Co island area (Quang Tri province) to promptly rescue the fishermen.
Border Guard soldiers quickly examined, treated, and provided medicine to fishermen in distress.
The fisherman in distress was Mr. Luong Van Duoc (born in 1979, residing in Cua Viet town, Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province) who was injured while removing the fishing net stuck at the foot of the boat when he was hit by waves.
Currently, the fishermen in distress are conscious and have basically stable health.
