Rescue of Korean sailors in distress at sea in Khanh Hoa

    Khanh Hoa - The Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center has just brought a Korean sailor named Park Yechan ashore for treatment.

    On the morning of February 13, SAR-273 ship of the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center in Khanh Hoa brought Korean crew member Park Yechan (24 years old) ashore for emergency treatment.

    Sao Unison ship (Panama nationality) has a journey from Brazil to China.

    On February 12, while the ship was passing through Khanh Hoa waters, crew member Park Yechan - deputy captain on the Sao Unison ship suffered from acute appendicitis, severe abdominal pain, risk of peritonitis, and poor health.

    Faced with the emergency, the captain of the Sao Unison contacted Vietnamese authorities to request assistance.

    Immediately, the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center in Khanh Hoa dispatched ship SAR-273 and a medical team to cross the sea to assist the distressed crew member.
