On the afternoon of September 11, the Standing Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee organized a launching ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 3.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thuan province said that in order to promptly share feelings, support all resources, encourage people in areas affected by natural disasters and respond to the call of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee launched a campaign to support people affected by storm No. 3.
With sentiments towards the people in the affected localities, the provincial leaders have directly supported. Then, on the morning of September 12, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will continue to organize a launching ceremony to support key officials of departments, branches, sectors, the Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations in the whole province.
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said that Binh Thuan province has advanced 3 billion VND.
Of this amount, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province disbursed 1 billion VND from the provincial Relief Fund to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to support overcoming the damage caused by storm No. 3 in the northern provinces.
The remaining amount of 2 billion VND is from the Party Committee, Government and people of Binh Thuan province to support the people of Tuyen Quang province, a twinned locality of Binh Thuan province.
Currently, many people in Binh Thuan province have also sent money and goods to support people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Storms and floods have caused severe damage in many northern provinces.
