On the morning of September 11, the People's Council of Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An) organized a donation to support people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.
Leaders of the District Party Committee, District People's Committee, and delegates of the People's Council of Thanh Chuong District, term XX, 2021-2026, joined hands to contribute to support people in the northern provinces affected by natural disasters.
“Currently, Thanh Chuong has mobilized all cadres, people, organizations and businesses in the district to join hands to contribute to support people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.
The District People's Council organized this morning, the units and localities continue to organize, then we will have the total data. All donated funds will be transferred to the people of the Northern provinces as fully and quickly as possible" - Mr. Trinh Van Nha - Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee said.
According to Mr. Trinh Van Nha, Thanh Chuong is a difficult district, often affected by natural disasters.
“Every time Thanh Chuong people are affected by natural disasters, they receive attention, support and help from organizations, businesses, philanthropists across the country as well as Thanh Chuong children far from home.
This time, the people of the Northern provinces suffered heavy losses due to natural disasters. The officials and people of Thanh Chuong, with little heart and much heart, are willing to join hands to contribute to support and share the difficulties and losses with the people. This is a beautiful gesture, with profound humanity" - Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee shared.
On September 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province called on the Party Committee, government, agencies, organizations, enterprises, businessmen, cadres, party members and people in Nghe An province to join hands to support people in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3.
Up to now, 30 Nghe An Electricity officials and 100 Nghe An youth volunteers have gone to the North to help overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Storm No. 3 (Storm Yagi) caused severe damage and impacts in many provinces in the Northern region.
