Accordingly, at 8:00 a.m. on August 9, Squadron 2 of the Border Guard - Ninh Binh Provincial Border Guard Command received a report from Mr. Pham Van Hop (born in 1970, residing in Hamlet 7, Rang Dong Commune, Ninh Binh Province) about fishing boatND 93147 TS (on board with 4 crew members) captained by Mr. Pham Van Han (born in 1992, residing at the same address), while fishing about 20 nautical miles south of Ninh Co port, it was discovered that crew member Do Trong Huong (born in 1982, residing in Hamlet 8, Rang Dong Commune) was not on the boat.

Immediately after receiving the information, the 2nd Border Guard Squadron reported the above incident to the Provincial Border Guard Command. The Provincial Border Guard Command has directed Border Guard stations to strengthen patrolling, control and notify fishermen working at sea near the fishermen in distress of the incident to coordinate in searching and helping. At the same time, he directed the 2nd Border Guard Squadron to urgently organize search forces.

At 3:00 p.m. the same day, the search team and fishing boatND 93082 TS captained by Mr. Pham Van Hoan (residing in Rang Dong commune) discovered and successfully rescued Mr. Do Trong Huong.
After being taken to the vehicle, the medical officers of the 2nd Border Guard Squadron conducted an initial health check-up; at 6:00 p.m., the victim was taken to the port of the 2nd Border Guard Squadron - Ninh Binh Provincial Border Guard and handed over to his family and locality.
