On January 14, the Military Command (CHQS) of Quang Tri province held a conference to announce the decisions of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff on reorganizing the Commune, Ward, and Special Zone Military Commands and awarding decisions on transferring and appointing cadres to meet requirements and tasks in the new situation.
Attending and directing the conference were Major General Le Hong Nhan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Military Region Party Committee, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of Military Region 4. Attending were also leaders of Military Region 4 agencies; Mr. Tran Vu Khiem - Standing Deputy Secretary of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Military Command and representatives of departments, agencies, branches, and localities in the province.
At the conference, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command announced the Decision of the Minister of National Defense and the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army on reorganizing and promulgating the organizational chart and staffing of the Commune, Ward, and Special Zone Military Commands under the Provincial Military Command; and at the same time announced the Decision of the Military Region 4 Command on transferring and appointing cadres to hold the position of Commander of the Commune-level Military Command.
Accordingly, the Provincial Military Command awarded decisions and flowers to congratulate 78 cadres who were transferred and appointed to hold the position of Commander of the Military Command of communes, wards, and special zones. The transfer and appointment were carried out in accordance with procedures, ensuring the principle of democratic centralism, publicity, and transparency; all appointed cadres have firm political bravery, good moral qualities, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
Speaking to direct, Major General Le Hong Nhan acknowledged and praised the Party Committee and the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command for thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing the decisions of superiors. At the same time, he requested newly appointed officials to quickly grasp the situation in the area, proactively advise the Party Committee and local authorities; promote the core role in building the militia and self-defense forces, and mobilize reserves.
In the immediate future, the Commune, Ward, and Special Zone Military Commands will focus on effectively implementing the work of selecting and calling citizens to enlist in 2026; improving the quality of training and combat readiness; closely coordinating with forces to ensure security and safety to serve important political events and for people to enjoy Spring and celebrate the Binh Ngo Tet safely and healthily.
Immediately after the conference, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command organized the assignment of specific tasks to 78 officials who had just been transferred and appointed.
