On the morning of January 12, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (MTTQ) and central mass organizations organized a conference to summarize the work in 2025 and deploy key tasks for 2026.
Speaking to direct the conference, Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Member of the Politburo, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat said that in the process of operation, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations always receive special attention from the Politburo, the Secretariat and General Secretary To Lam.
On behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, Mr. Tran Cam Tu acknowledged, highly appreciated and praised the achievements of the Fatherland Front Party Committee and central mass organizations in 2025.
In 2026, Mr. Tran Cam Tu noted that the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations need to continue to strongly innovate thinking and actions, methods and content of activities, strengthen the construction and solid consolidation of the great national unity bloc, and promote the creative spirit of all classes of people in building and protecting the Fatherland.
One of the top important tasks of the VFF is to continue building and strengthening the great national unity bloc, widely gathering all strata of people, ensuring high unity in awareness, ideology and action, steadfastly pursuing the goal of national independence and socialism, resolutely and persistently protecting and maintaining national independence and sovereignty, maintaining political and social stability, building a country that is increasingly rich, strong, civilized, and people that are rich, well-fed, and happy," Mr. Tran Cam Tu noted.
In addition, continue to lead and direct the serious and effective implementation of resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Party Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the General Secretary. Improve the quality of strategic advisory work, comprehensively lead Party building work and implement political tasks. The Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations must be pioneering and exemplary, daring to think, daring to do, and daring to take responsibility for common goods; establish a close, synchronous, and smooth coordination mechanism between 25 Party organizations under the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front in accordance with the spirit of the direction of General Secretary To Lam: "one task, one focal point, one deadline, one result". Thoroughly overcome the administrativeization in the activities of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations; always be steadfast and maintain the operating principles of the Party and organizations as stipulated in the Party Charter as well as other legal documents.
Along with that, continue to innovate and improve the leadership capacity of Party committees and Party organizations at all levels, creating strong changes in Party building organization work. Promote propaganda, education, and mobilization of people to correctly, fully, and deeply understand and well implement the Party's guidelines, policies, and the State's laws.
The Front must be the nucleus in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation. Strengthen widespread propaganda so that all classes of people recognize and identify the insidious plots of hostile forces that distort history, distort, and oppose the views, guidelines, policies, and laws of the Party and the State, especially on ethnicity and religion, in order to divide the great national unity bloc. Strengthen inspection and supervision, and strictly adhere to the Party's discipline and order," Mr. Tran Cam Tu directed.
In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations need to continue to improve mechanisms, consolidate organizational structure, cadres, innovate content and methods of operation closely to grassroots areas, democracy in accordance with the spirit of the General Secretary's direction: Party members working in the Front system and mass organizations must be the core nucleus, maintain "3 closeness": Near the people - near grassroots - near digital space; "5 must": Must listen - must dialogue - must be exemplary - must be responsible - must report results; "4 no": No formalism - no avoidance - no pushing - no doing wrong functions.
Focus on improving the quality, training and fostering the contingent of Front cadres and mass organizations to be truly dedicated, responsible, wholeheartedly dedicated to their work, constantly innovate thinking, be creative, have bravery, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to face difficulties and challenges for the development of the country; especially the contingent of full-time cadres at all levels must be truly passionate about their work, strive to study, train, improve their understanding of all aspects, regularly set an example, and must become bright examples for the people to admire, love, respect and be thanked for. Gather and maximize the role and contributions of scientists, experts, and typical individuals in all strata of the people, in ethnic groups, religions and Vietnamese people abroad to serve the cause of national development.
In addition, the Party Committee needs to promptly propose and remove difficulties, obstacles, and inadequacies in the institution, organizational model, operating mechanism and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Front and mass organizations. Strengthen digital transformation, apply comprehensive and substantive information technology in the Party Committee's activities, including propaganda, mobilization, grasping the situation of union members, association members and people from all walks of life to meet the requirements in the new period.
Timely institutionalization into a specific process for the policy: People know - people discuss - people do - people check - people supervise - people benefit; promulgation of a set of criteria "3 public - 3 supervision": Publicizing goals - resources - progress; supervision by the People - Fatherland Front - press. All social security programs have deadlines, output standards, impact indicators; at the end of each quarter, public evaluation must be conducted, taking opinions from beneficiaries with the participation of representatives of workers, businesses, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations.

Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai said that immediately after the conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, central mass organizations, Party committees at all levels, and Party organizations throughout the Party Committee will urgently concretize fully and seriously the directing opinions of the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat into the program and work plan for 2026 and the following years to organize implementation with the highest political determination, the greatest effort, promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity, overcome all difficulties and challenges; strive to complete the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central mass organizations, term 2025 - 2030, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party.
On this occasion, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai presented Certificates of Merit from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central Unions to the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The conference also presented Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in advising and serving the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central Unions, term 2025-2030.
