At the conference, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Unions, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented the content of the Report on the results of Front work in 2025, the Program on coordination and unified action in 2026 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Draft Political Report submitted to the XI National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031 for Committee members to give opinions.
Vice Chairman Ha Thi Nga also reported to the Conference on the content of comments at the 6th Conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, regarding the contents of draft documents and submissions of contents submitted to the Central Committee for comments.
Ms. Ha Thi Nga said that at the Conference, there were 16 contents of opinions; of which, there were 10 opinions expressed directly at the Conference and 6 opinions participated in writing. Basically, the opinions expressed high consensus and agreement on the draft documents and the preparation for organizing the Conference.
The opinions highly appreciated the work results of the entire Front system in 2025, especially the Front at all levels has been very proactive and completed the arrangement of apparatus and personnel according to the new model and the contents of Front work with a very large workload; at the same time, it was agreed that in 2026, the Front system needs to focus on preparing and organizing well, ensuring the requirements of important tasks, such as: Thoroughly grasping and implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; organizing the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; effectively exercising the rights and responsibilities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term...
Some opinions suggested supplementing people's concerns and worries about the degradation of quality, morality, and weaknesses in capacity of a not small part of key cadres, about instability in recent days of the world and the region; at the same time, they proposed that the Party, State, and armed forces proactively take preventive measures to ensure political security and protect the country's sovereignty. At the same time, people express absolute determination to work with the Party, State, and political system to firmly protect national independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity as well as the cause of building and developing the country. Emphasizing and clarifying the operating results of socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State.
Regarding the draft Political Report, some opinions suggested continuing to study the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress to concretize the contents and tasks of the Front in accordance with local practice; closely follow the Party's policy to supplement content on sustainable development goals; review business figures; on promoting the role of the Advisory Council and Advisory Group.
Also at the conference, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented the content of submitting opinions on the draft Plan to organize the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031 and the Draft Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front amended and supplemented.
