Ministry of Home Affairs does not organize reception for guests, does not receive flowers on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of its establishment

On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of its establishment, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced that it will not organize rallies, will not receive guests and will not receive congratulatory flowers.

On August 24, the Ministry of Home Affairs just sent a document to the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, central mass organizations; ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government; People's Committees of provinces and cities directly under the Central Government; press agencies on not organizing receptions for guests, not receiving flowers on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the Ministry of Home Affairs' establishment (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2026).

This is a specific action of the ministry in implementing Decree No. 111/ND-CP dated August 31, 2018 of the Government stipulating the establishment date, traditional day, and response day of ministries, branches, and localities; directives of the Central Government and the Government on practicing thrift and combating wastefulness.

The announcement also said that the ministry will not organize a commemorative rally.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Home Affairs thanked the attention and direction of the Party and State leaders, the National Assembly, and the Government; the attention and coordination of departments, ministries, branches, central mass organizations, Party committees, and local authorities for the work of the Ministry and the Ministry of Home Affairs in the past time and expressed its desire to continue to receive attention, direction, and work coordination in the coming time.
