A few hours earlier, VETC Automatic Toll Collection Co., Ltd. also announced the suspension of the implementation of VETC e-wallet service fee collection.
According to VETC, this decision was made after the business recorded many mixed opinions from users related to the toll collection policy.
A representative of VETC said that the unit frankly acknowledges that the process of building, communication and planning to apply policies is not complete, has not met expectations and has not created a good experience as well as customer consensus.
At the same time, he affirmed that in reality, the VETC wallet system has not collected any fees to date.
