Regarding the fire situation, the report said that at 8:15 pm on July 20, a fire occurred at 450m2 of a western medicine factory in Van Minh village, Phu Xuyen commune, Hanoi City, the cause is being verified. The locality mobilized 40 people, 4 fire trucks of the Police, in coordination with local forces, extinguished the fire at 9:30 pm on the same day.
At 8:00 am on July 21, on Quang Trung street, Go Vap ward/Ho Chi Minh City, a fire occurred at 150m2 of the headquarters of Happy House Co., Ltd., the cause is being verified.
The locality mobilized 43 people, 3 fire trucks of the Police, coordinated with local forces, and extinguished the fire at 08:25 on the same day.
At 02:30 on July 21, on National Highway 1, passing through Hung Thinh hamlet, Hung Thinh commune, Dong Nai city, a sleeper bus (BKS 50E-447. 02) caught fire, the cause is being investigated.
The consequence of the incident was 7 deaths (Tran Thi T, born 1969; Nguyen Tran N.Y, born 2016; Le Cong D, born 1989; Nguyen Thi Ngoc D, born 2002; Le Thao V, born 2022; Le Tuan K, born 2024; 1 male named D), 9 people were injured.
The locality mobilized 30 people, 1 fire truck of the Police, coordinated with local forces to take people to the emergency room and regulate traffic, extinguishing the fire at 03:00 on the same day.

From July 16 to July 17, 2026, prolonged heavy rain occurred in Muong Than commune, Lai Chau province, causing flash floods, landslides and serious landslides, sweeping away 13 houses of people.
