Deputy Minister of Construction Le Anh Tuan signed a document 1798/BXD-VT & ATTG on strengthening the transportation to serve the people to travel to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975-30.4.2025).
The Ministry of Construction requires the Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City as follows:
Strengthen propaganda and guidance on the implementation of the law on business and conditions for transport business by local cars.
Request passenger transport business units with cars with transport routes connected to Ho Chi Minh City with appropriate transportation plans to meet the travel needs of the people, carry the right load, carry the right number of people as prescribed, ensure the capacity and quality of transport services; Strictly check the safety conditions of vehicles and drive before exporting.
Proactively and coordinate with departments, branches and local authorities to review and handle "black spots", "potential points" of the risk of congestion and traffic accidents on the city system managed by the city.
Surveying and evaluating the traffic sign system in the area, especially in the gateway area, the location of connecting the arterial traffic routes of the city, the area connected to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, creating favorable conditions for vehicles.
The Ministry of Construction also requires local construction departments to the above provisions. In particular, units need to focus on propagating the regulations on driving time, speed, distance between vehicles on highways, technical safety conditions of vehicles and conditions of transport business drivers, carrying the right number of people.
