In 2025, civil servants and employees will have 22 days off for holidays and Tet, including 11 official days and 11 consecutive days off, due to falls on a weekly day off, exchanging working days.
According to the 2024-2025 school year schedule issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, schools will finish the first semester before January 18, 2025, complete the program and end the school year before May 31, 2025.

Complete enrollment for first-level classes before July 31, 2025.
The 2025 high school graduation exam is scheduled to take place on June 26 and 27, 2025.
The school year schedule of localities must ensure 35 weeks of actual study (1 1-semester has 18 weeks, 2-semester has 17 weeks). The school year time plan must be consistent with the characteristics and practical conditions of the locality.
Holidays and Tet holidays are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Code and annual guidance documents. Teachers' annual leave is taken during the summer vacation or can be arranged alternately at other times of the year to suit the specific characteristics and school year time plans of the locality.
