In the afternoon of April 9, functional forces of Ward 2 Bao Loc (Lam Dong) coordinated with the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Region 3 of the Provincial Police to deploy the search for missing drowning victims at Ngoc Lake.
According to initial information, at noon on the same day, Mr. Nguyen Quyet Sang (28 years old, residing in B'Lao ward) and a friend went to Ngoc Lake (Ward 2, Bao Loc - former Loc Tan commune area) to fish.
While fishing, seeing the fish stuck to the hook, Mr. Sang swam to the middle of the lake to catch them, but unfortunately drowned and went missing. Because he did not know how to swim, the friend who went with him called to report to the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces quickly arrived at the scene and deployed search and rescue operations.
However, due to the large lake and deep water, by 5:30 pm on the same day, the search had not yet yielded results.
Currently, search and rescue work is being continued by the forces.
