On August 20, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province issued a decision to establish a working group to support compensation for damages to dairy cows suffering from diarrhea due to vaccination with lumpy dermatitis.
Accordingly, the Working Group consists of 12 members led by Mr. Nguyen Van Chau - Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Members include representatives of the Central Veterinary Medicine Joint Stock Company (Navetco), the Department of Finance, the Legal Aid Center, and the People's Committees of districts with sick cows.
The working group is responsible for reviewing, collecting statistics, calculating and developing a draft plan for compensation and support for people's losses.
The working group coordinated with the Central Veterinary Medicine Joint Stock Company to implement compensation and support for damage to cows that developed disease after vaccination with lumpy dermatitis vaccine in Lam Dong province in accordance with the law.
It is known that compensation is carried out by the Central Veterinary Medicine Joint Stock Company, but a Working Group was established by the Provincial People's Committee to support, ensure accuracy and protect the rights of damaged people.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article "Many dairy cows suddenly got sick and died unexpectedly", reflecting the situation that, for many days, hundreds of households in Duc Trong and Don Duong districts are extremely worried because A situation in which thousands of dairy cows suddenly develop unusual illnesses. Among them, many have died.
According to local people, cows that have been vaccinated against dermatitis have had symptoms of diarrhea for up to ten days. Many cows then vomit a lot of blood clots and die.
