Party committees of wards and communes in the Binh Duong area are organizing an expanded conference to collect opinions on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units.
In Ben Cat ward, the 15th Conference of the Executive Committee of the Ward Party Committee - term I, term 2025 - 2030 (expanded) was held and gave opinions on this issue. Delegates said that after a year of operation, Ben Cat ward has gradually stabilized its organization and state management activities smoothly, and is also entering a development phase. Stability of administrative boundaries will create conditions to ensure continuity in planning management, land, construction investment and focusing resources on development.
Through discussion, the delegates unanimously proposed to maintain the current status of Ben Cat ward, without merging.
According to records, Ben Cat ward has an area of about 100.89 km2 with 19 neighborhoods. In the ward, there are 56,787 households with nearly 117,000 people.

In Long Nguyen ward, 100% of delegates attending the 11th Conference of the Ward Party Committee Executive Committee (expanded) also unanimously approved the policy of maintaining the administrative unit of Long Nguyen ward, not including Long Nguyen ward in the plan of merging or adjusting administrative boundaries. The voting results show the high consensus of the delegates on the policy of maintaining the stability of the administrative unit of Long Nguyen ward.
In Thuan Giao ward, the Ward Party Committee organized an expanded Conference of the Ward Party Committee Executive Committee. According to reports, Thuan Giao ward currently has 10 neighborhoods, a natural area of 1,707 ha, a population of over 154,000 people, of which temporary residents account for a high proportion. In Thuan Giao ward, there are 2 industrial parks (VSIP 1 and Viet Huong), 2 industrial clusters (Binh Chuan and Thuan Giao) with 2,478 businesses operating.
Through review, Thuan Giao has exceeded the standards for population size and area of ward-level administrative units according to regulations. In addition, the locality has just completed the arrangement of administrative units and stabilized the organizational structure from 2025. At the conference, 100% of delegates unanimously proposed not to merge wards.

Similarly, at the expanded Binh Hoa Ward Party Committee Executive Committee conference, 100% of delegates attending agreed with the plan not to merge, continuing to maintain the current administrative boundaries. This is a ward with a large population and area, specifically, Binh Hoa ward currently has an area of 18.48 km2, a population of 134,647 people, including 12 neighborhoods. The population scale is about 6.41 times larger and the area is about 3.36 times larger than the minimum standard for ward-level administrative units.
