On May 22, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province issued a decision to reclaim land of the Joint Venture of Ca Mau University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital Joint Stock Company and Sao Viet Cosmetic Company Limited.
The Provincial People's Committee reclaimed 21,285.0 m2 of land granted to the Joint Venture of Ca Mau University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital Joint Stock Company and Sao Viet Cosmetic Company Limited (belonging to plot No. 281, map sheet No. 07, in Hamlet 5, Ward 1, Ca Mau City) to implement the Investment Project to build a private general clinic in Ca Mau City.
Previously, on November 22, 2024, the Department of Construction also decided to revoke the Construction License No. 04/GPXD-SXD dated January 16, 2017 issued by this unit to Sao Viet Cosmetic Company Limited to build a private general clinic in Ward 1, Ca Mau City.
On March 19, 2025, the Director of the Department of Finance also decided to terminate the operation of the Ca Mau City Private General Clinic Construction Investment Project.
Sao Viet Cosmetic Institute Company Limited (address: 105A/25-27, Ho Thi Ky Street, Ward 1, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) was allocated land by the province in Hamlet 5, Ward 1, Ca Mau City, to implement a private General Clinic in early 2017.
The project consists of 9 items, with implementation period from December 2017 to March 2019 on an area of over 21,000 m2.
After many years of the project being idle until 2023, the investor leveled the ground, built an infrastructure system in the project area, a security house... The total amount paid to the contractor was more than 58 billion VND.
The project was extended, the investor adjusted the project to over 192 billion VND. However, due to insufficient capacity, the project continued to be stopped, and is now no longer possible, forcing the province to reclaim the land.
