Up to this point, localities in Ho Chi Minh City have urgently completed the final preparation stage, ready for the election day of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term to take place safely and in accordance with regulations.
Recorded in Binh Tan ward, voter lists have been publicly posted at polling stations for people to check and compare. Lists and summary biographies of candidates are placed in easy-to-observe locations, helping voters learn carefully before voting. The ballot distribution area, ballot box and place for stamping voter cards are arranged scientifically and conveniently.


Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet Nga - Vice Chairwoman of Binh Tan Ward People's Committee - said that the area currently has 36 polling stations. Preparations for decoration and security and order have been basically completed. The election team is actively distributing voter cards to each household with documents introducing candidates.

In Binh Hung Hoa ward, ward leaders directly inspected the facilities at 58 polling stations. Binh Hung Hoa ward currently has 58 polling stations and has posted voter lists in all these areas as well as at the Ward People's Committee headquarters in accordance with regulations. The total number of voters updated to the management software is more than 109,000 people, including permanent and temporary residents and some special cases.



In Binh Phu ward, the atmosphere of preparation is excited. Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Thang - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee - emphasized that the breakthrough new point this year is the digital transformation application. All voter data is reviewed on the VNeID software of the Ministry of Public Security, helping to manage absolutely accurately instead of manual methods as before.


Binh Phu Ward also promotes propaganda through Fanpages, Zalo groups of each neighborhood, business and mass organizations. In particular, the ward has prepared auxiliary ballot boxes to bring to homes for the elderly and people with difficult travel needs. Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School in the ward is also honored to be selected as a live television bridge point on March 15.


In Hoa Hung ward, the locality has early established working sub-committees, 8 Election Boards and 28 Election Teams. The entire process from receiving candidate dossiers to reviewing voter lists has been implemented according to the roadmap under the close leadership of the Party Committee and the Ward People's Committee.


The ward has posted voter lists at 28 polling stations, and at the same time thoroughly reviewed facilities, promptly overcoming locations that need repair. Propaganda work is carried out richly through social networks, panels, and banners at key roads.
Regarding security, the Security and Order Sub-committee has a plan to strictly protect polling stations. Up to now, no complaints or denunciations related to the election have arisen in the locality.



According to the plan, around 7 am on March 15, all polling stations in Ho Chi Minh City will simultaneously open. This is a journey to select people who represent the will and aspirations of the people.
According to the announcement of the National Election Council, the whole country has 864 National Assembly deputy candidates in 182 constituencies, elected 500 deputies; of which 392 are women (45.37%), 188 are ethnic minorities (21.76%), 65 are non-Party members (7.52%).
In this election, Ho Chi Minh City will elect 38 National Assembly deputies from 64 candidates in 13 units; city voters also elect 125 Ho Chi Minh City People's Council deputies from 208 candidates in 42 units.
