On the afternoon of December 2, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work. Authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - chaired the conference. Also attending were Director of the Department of Home Affairs Phan Huu Phuoc and representatives of relevant agencies.
At the conference, Mr. Phan Huu Phuoc announced the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to allow Mr. Le Minh Hung - Chairman of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations - to retire before the retirement age according to the provisions of Decree No. 29 dated June 3, 2023 of the Government regulating the streamlining of staff. On this occasion, the decision to allow Mr. Nguyen Trong Qui - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts - to resign according to his wishes according to Decree No. 46 dated April 27, 2010 of the Government was also announced.
The conference also announced the decision of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to recognize the election results of the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations for the 2020-2025 term for Mr. Nguyen Tan Cuong - Chief of Office of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations; the decision to temporarily appoint Ms. Chau Thi Thuy Hang - Head of Student Affairs Department, Dong Thap Medical College - to hold the position of Vice Principal of Dong Thap Medical College.
