The project connecting the road from the connecting road to Suoi Lanh Lake was approved in December 2023 with a total investment of VND93 billion, the investor is the Pho Yen City Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The project belongs to group B, a level III traffic project, with a total length of more than 4.5km, passing through Thanh Cong commune, Pho Yen city (Thai Nguyen). The route is divided into two sections:

Section 1: Upgrading and renovating provincial road DT.274, from Km7+548.17 to Km11+122.24. This route has a 9m wide roadbed, a 6m wide road surface, and is paved with asphalt concrete.
Section 2: This is a completely newly opened route, starting from the connection point with DT.274 at Km10+935.89 to Suoi Lanh Lake, 965m long. This route has a 14m wide roadbed, 8m wide road surface, and is poured with cement concrete.
Suoi Lanh Lake is located at the foot of Ham Lon Mountain, in Tam Dao range, an important irrigation project of Thanh Cong commune, serving irrigation of more than 400 hectares of agricultural land.
With terrain of hills, streams, and natural lakes, this place is also oriented to develop into an eco-tourism destination of Pho Yen City.
The road connecting to the lake not only serves the travel needs of people in the area but also creates conditions for infrastructure connection, exploiting the advantages of local tourism.
On April 30, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that after more than 1 year of implementation, the project connecting to Suoi Lanh Lake has been completed.
The road surface is paved with asphalt, making it easy and convenient for people and vehicles to travel.

As a household with a house near the road, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh (Thanh Cong commune, Pho Yen city) shared that before upgrading, this road surface was full of "potholes", making it very difficult for people to travel and posing a potential risk of accidents.
"In the past, we had a hard time traveling, especially when it rained, seeing the muddy water had to squeeze through, avoiding it, sometimes it was very dangerous to slide.
Therefore, when this project was implemented, people living along both sides of the road were very happy because there was a clean, beautiful road and especially no more dusty sunshine or muddy rain," Ms. Thanh added.
Regularly traveling on this route, Mr. Nguyen Van Tai (Pho Yen City) said that in the past, the road surface was rough, bumpy, and many sections were slippery, so driving always had potential risks.
"Every time I drive here, I have to pay attention to every meter, especially at night or when it rains, just a little neglect is easy to get into trouble. Now the road has been rebuilt, spacious, I can go much more securely, no longer worried about accidents as before," said Mr. Tai.

Talking to reporters, Mr. Dang Van Ty - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Cong commune (Pho Yen city) said that the project of the road connecting Suoi Lanh lake was completed on April 24.
"The old road was very difficult and arduous to travel on. After raising the bar, the completion will not only help people travel more safely and conveniently but also create conditions for easy transportation of goods and agricultural products, saving time and costs," the commune leader added.
At the same time, this is also the basis for the locality to develop eco-tourism around Suoi Lanh Lake, contributing to opening up more livelihoods and increasing income for people, especially when Pho Yen City is chosen as the place to serve tourism activities in Thai Nguyen province in 2025.
