On March 9, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 1114 on continuing to rectify and strengthen discipline and order in state administrative agencies at all levels in the area.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested Directors of departments, Heads of agencies, departments, branches and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards to uphold the spirit of responsibility, strictly implement the Party's regulations and the State's laws; fully comply with the directions of the Government, the Prime Minister, the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee and the Chairman of the City People's Committee related to discipline and administrative order.
Strengthen inspection of public service activities, especially internal inspection; promote the responsibility of heads of agencies and units. Collectives and individuals who perform well in their tasks should be commended and rewarded promptly.
Promptly review, replace or transfer to other jobs for cadres, civil servants, and public employees with weak capacity, who dare not do, avoid, shirk, work in moderation, fear responsibility, to be sluggish and not meet the requirements of assigned work.
In case of shirking, avoidance, irresponsibility to cause or not deciding on issues and tasks under authority causing consequences, it is necessary to review and handle the responsibilities of collectives and individuals involved in accordance with regulations.
The settlement of administrative procedures must ensure timeliness, publicity, transparency, and compliance with regulations; not to let delays, harassment, negativity or shirking responsibility to people and businesses occur.
Agencies continue to review and supplement working regulations in accordance with reality, ensuring that tasks under their authority are resolved quickly and effectively; and at the same time strictly implement regulations on public service ethics, office culture and culture of behavior with organizations and citizens.
Cadres, civil servants, public employees, and laborers improve their sense of responsibility and public service ethics; properly perform their assigned responsibilities and tasks; adhere to administrative discipline and order; comply with the leadership and direction of superiors; proactively research and advise on solving work to ensure quality and on schedule.
Head of the City Public Duty Inspection Team strengthens inspection of compliance with discipline and administrative order; promptly advises on handling violations, especially the situation of delays, harassment, and negativity in the performance of official duties.
