In Notice No. 2608/TB-SGTVT of the Department of Transport of Cao Bang province, in order to respond to the effects of storm No. 3 and the floods after the storm causing landslides in the area, the Department of Transport of Cao Bang province announced that from September 9, all automobile transportation activities in the province will be temporarily suspended until further notice.
For the districts of Nguyen Binh, Bao Lac, Bao Lam, Ha Lang, Ha Quang, and Hoa An, all passenger transport activities by bus, fixed-route passenger vans , taxis, and contract vehicles in the province will be temporarily suspended until further notice.
Vehicles on the way to exploitation must urgently move the vehicle to a safe parking place to prevent and combat storms (except for vehicles transporting people to the emergency room; vehicles mobilized to serve natural disaster prevention and control and search and rescue).
For contract vehicles that must perform the contract within the above period, the operating unit shall discuss and negotiate with the vehicle renter. In case the contract must be performed, the operating unit must take measures to ensure the safety of passengers.
For inter-provincial bus routes with departure and arrival stations in Cao Bang province, limit traffic and proactively implement plans to ensure the highest level of traffic safety and proactively update information on routes because currently passenger transport routes in all directions of National Highways cannot operate. National Highway 3 has many landslides and subsidence points due to rising rivers and streams.
