On April 27, Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction) said that it had reported to the Ministry of Construction, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, Traffic Police Department and Vietnam Road Administration on the plan to open to traffic the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon component project and part of the Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh component project, belonging to the North - South Expressway in the East phase 2021-2025.
According to Project Management Board 85, the main route sections and intersections of the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon project (Km0+000 to Km70+091) and 1 part of the Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh project (Km0+000 to Km19+800), corresponding to the longitude of the CT. 01 expressway from Km1138+000 to Km1227+800, passing through Gia Lai province, have been accepted and completed.
The items have also been approved by the State Inspection Council for acceptance results, agreeing to put the project into operation. Project Management Board 85 and Road Management Zone III have completed the handover of assets for organization of management and operation.
The section is expected to open to traffic from 11:30 AM on the 29th. 4. Starting point at Km1138+000, connecting to the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon component project; ending point at Km1227+800, connecting to Cu Mong tunnel on National Highway 1.
At the same time, Project Management Board 2 (Ministry of Construction) also reported on the plan to open the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon component project, section from Km1050 - Km1138 on route CT. 01.
This section is 88km long, the starting point is adjacent to the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway at Km127+720, the ending point connects to the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon project at Km1138.
The route has not yet collected tolls, on the route there is a temporary toll station at Km1050+600, serving the closed toll collection plan for the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway.
It is known that the component project Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon is more than 88km long, with a total investment of over 21,0000 billion VND, passing through Quang Ngai province about 60.3km and Gia Lai province about 27.7km.
The component project Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon is more than 70km long (Gia Lai province), with a total investment of over 12,400 billion VND.
The Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh component project is nearly 62km long (excluding 5.1km through Cu Mong tunnel), passing through Gia Lai province about 20km and Dak Lak more than 42km, with a total investment of more than 14,800 billion VND.
