On May 31, a tree about 10 m long suddenly fell on Thanh Thai Street (District 10). Fortunately, no people or vehicles were traveling through the area at that time, so there were no casualties or property damage.
The incident occurred at around 1 p.m. today, at 28A Thanh Thai, Ward 14, District 10. At the scene, trees were uprooted and fell along the sidewalk. The trunk and tree tops fell onto the road, occupying about 2/3 of the lane, causing local traffic obstruction.

It is noteworthy that when the tree falls, the roots are very small and dry, looking like no roots. This makes many people feel worried about the safety of the urban green tree system, especially in the context of erratic stormy weather.

Mr. Nguyen Van An (55 years old), a witness to the incident, shared his insecurity: "I witnessed the tree falling and was startled. Luckily, no one passed by at that time, otherwise the consequences would be unpredictable. Looking at the tree's roots, I see that the roots are very few and stunted, as if there are no roots. This really worried me.
Mr. An also said that the time the trees fell was when there was wind and near the rain.

Immediately after the incident, local people quickly notified the authorities for timely handling measures.
