According to initial information, at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, a tanker with license plate 37H - 062.67 was refueling a gasoline tank when it suddenly caught fire, causing the gasoline pipeline to burst into flames. The fire occurred in a private gasoline tank area, surrounded by houses on three sides.
Upon discovering the fire, many residents and the gas station owner used fire extinguishers to put it out. About 15 minutes later, the fire was under control.
Upon receiving the news, the fire department dispatched two fire trucks to the scene to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring houses.
Some witnesses said that at the time of the fire, a group of children were playing near the gasoline tank.
At the scene, the fire was determined to have originated from the gas tank of a private gas station. The fuel pipe leading to the tank was burned for about 5m.
After the fire was extinguished, the fuel tanker left the scene.
The cause of the incident is currently being investigated and clarified by Nghe An authorities.
