On November 30, the Hanoi Department of Construction said it had sent a document to the Hanoi People's Committee to report on the inspection and handling of press information reflecting on urgent issues and incidents related to the city, including the content of houses submerged in the dusty sea next to the construction site of the Ring Road 2.5 project (Dam Hong area).
The Hanoi Department of Construction said that the barrier and lane division items on Trinh Dinh Cuu Street and Ha Ke Tan Street to construct the L3 bridge across the Lu River under the Ring Road 2.5 project (Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section) are invested by Hoang Ha Construction Company Limited and are under construction.
According to the investor's report, during the construction process, the investor has requested contractors to arrange labor to organize regular cleaning of the living space, gathering personal information and services to ensure neatness.
The investor also arranged a water spraying truck to spray water to wash and clean the road surface at least 4 times/day, ensuring to minimize the amount of dust generated during the construction of the packages.

In the area from lane 192 Le Trong Tan street to the starting area of Dam Hong route, there are 2 projects being implemented in parallel with the Ring Road 2.5 project, which are the Thanh Xuan General Hospital construction project and the Thanh Xuan Funeral Home construction project.
Along Ring Road 2.5, there are still some construction business districts in the left area. The contractors of these projects and businesses all use the same surface as the Ring Road 2.5 construction site to transport soil, sand, waste... causing scattered on the road surface, causing dust for surrounding residential areas.
The investor has directed contractors to repeatedly remind these organizations and individuals to coordinate in ensuring environmental health, but the coordination of relevant units and individuals has not been implemented yet.
On October 29, Hoang Mai Ha Noi Construction Investment Company Limited sent a document to Thanh Xuan Hospital Joint Stock Company requesting to stop the operation of transporting construction materials and waste through the construction site of Ring Road 2.5 so that the contractor can organize the construction of the area at the beginning of Dam Hong route. Since November 1, dust emissions in this area have decreased significantly.
Currently, at the section from Km0+60 to Km0+300 on the left and right sides of the route, the contractor has carried out the construction of the road surface to the rough grain asphalt concrete layer. Through inspection, the Department of Construction said that the Dam Hong area is no longer dusty as reported by the press.
