According to initial information, at about 11 am on May 3, a large fire occurred at the house of Mr. Bac Cam To - a disabled person, belonging to the poor household category of Bo Xanh village.
The house is far from residential areas, when the fire occurred, family members were not present at home. When discovered, the fire had spread, people around shouted, mobilized local forces to participate in extinguishing the fire, and reported to local authorities.


Upon receiving the news, leaders of Muong Gion Commune People's Committee quickly arrived at the scene to direct the work of overcoming the consequences, visiting and encouraging the victim's family.
Mr. Hoang Van Hoc, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, informed that immediately after the fire, the local government supported essential necessities such as rice, fish sauce, salt and some household items, and arranged temporary accommodation for the family at the primary school in the area.

The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit in the house. The fire did not cause any casualties, but the entire 4-compartment wooden house and many properties were completely burned down, estimated damage is over 150 million VND.
