Fire burns down a bread production facility in Son La, 2 people die

Son La - In the early morning of April 30, a fire occurred at a house combined with producing bread and buns in Phu Yen commune, killing 2 people.

According to initial information, at about 4:32 am on the same day, the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Son La Provincial Police received a fire report from people about a fire at a facility producing and trading bread and buns in the form of a one-story tube house in the central market area, sub-zone 2, Phu Yen commune.

Immediately after receiving the information, Zone 5 Team dispatched 2 fire trucks and 16 officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy a fire fighting plan.

When functional forces approached, the fire had engulfed the entire house and there was a risk of spreading to the kiosks behind.

The fire force was divided into two prongs: one prong approached directly the main door to control the fire, the other prong approached from behind to cool down and prevent the fire from spreading to the surrounding business area.

At about 5 am on the same day, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished.

During the scene inspection, functional forces discovered two victims dead in the toilet area, including Mr. D.Q. B. (born in 1976) and Ms. N.T. N. (born in 1981), both from Tam Hong commune, Phu Tho province, temporarily residing in Phu Yen commune, Son La province.

The fire also burned down many assets serving daily life and production.

The cause of the fire is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
