In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to the research report and detailed assessment of the impact of the Traffic route Project through Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve according to the opinions of the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO, the Vietnam National Commission for the Human and Biosphere Program, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant agencies.
Previously, on June 11, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province submitted a proposal to the Prime Minister to consider and approve the policy of adjusting the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050 according to a shortened order and procedure.
According to the submission, the decision on the plan to merge provincial-level administrative units, merge Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces, and take the name Dong Nai province, the political-administrative center located in Dong Nai province.
Currently, connecting Binh Phuoc province with Ho Chi Minh City is through Binh Duong province, there is no direct connection between Binh Phuoc province and Dong Nai province, Ho Chi Minh City area, so the construction and investment in the project of a road connecting the two provinces of Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai province through Ma Da bridge is urgent. This contributes to the completion of transport infrastructure, especially the infrastructure connection between the Central Highlands and the Southeast to Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai Port (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province); creating motivation to promote regional linkages and at the same time serving the travel needs of civil servants, public employees and people of Binh Phuoc province to work in Dong Nai province after the merger of the two provinces.
However, through reviewing the location of Ma Da bridge connecting Dong Nai province and Binh Phuoc province; DT 761 route; the connecting route from Dong Nai Nature - Cultural Reserve to intersection with Ring Road 4 not included in the Dong Nai Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister.
At the same time, to implement the Ma Da Bridge project and DT 761, it is necessary to adjust the relevant land use planning such as: adjusting the special-use forest land planning with an area of about 85.5 hectares.
With the urgency of the above project, Dong Nai province proposed to adjust the planning of Dong Nai province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 according to shortened procedures to have a basis for implementing the project of the connecting road between Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces through Ma Da bridge...
In the submission, the Provincial People's Committee also proposed the content of the adjustment of the Provincial Planning, including: adding a route from Provincial Road 761, Ma Da Bridge to intersection with Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 through the province with a length of 44km, with a scale of 8 lanes; adding Ma Da Bridge with a scale of 8 lanes to Appendix XI - an additional plan connecting Dong Nai province with neighboring localities.
