On June 16, the Provincial People's Committee worked on the progress of the Ma Da bridge investment project and the approach road from Ma Da bridge to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4.
At the meeting, the Department of Finance proposed that the Provincial People's Committee urgently complete the dossier to adjust the provincial planning based on updating Ma Da bridge and the connecting route from Ma Da bridge to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4.
Proactively coordinate with the Ministry of Finance on supporting the central budget for the province to implement the project according to previous proposals. The Department of Construction and the Department of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over advising the Provincial People's Committee to adjust the construction planning and land use planning related to the project.
At the same time, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has completed the project pre-feasibility study report in the form of public investment.

Also at the meeting, Mr. Ho Van Ha - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - assigned the Department of Finance to take full responsibility for the Ma Da bridge project and the road leading from Ma Da bridge to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4. At the same time, it agreed to separate the Ma Da bridge project into an independent project to speed up the progress.
The road project from Ma Da bridge to the intersection with Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 (phase 1) has a scale of 4 lanes, with a total investment of VND 11,020 billion. Of which, Ma Da bridge is about 220 billion VND and the 44 km long route is about 10,800 billion VND, in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).
Previously, in April 2025, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc signed a decision to issue a plan to speed up the implementation of the Ma Da bridge project and traffic routes connecting Dong Nai province and Binh Phuoc province, creating conditions for traffic connection between the two provinces.
