On March 28, leaders of Vinh Hao Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong province) said that the commune police are clarifying the case of a baby who died suspected of choking on food while being sent to a private kindergarten in the area.
According to the report of the Commune People's Committee, on the morning of March 23, child N.T. K. L (born in May 2025, residing in Vinh Hai village, Vinh Hao commune) was sent by her family to M.X private kindergarten owned by Ms. P.T. T.
At about 10 am on the same day, during lunchtime, L was fed porridge. During the eating process, she showed signs of choking. The 2 teachers at the facility performed first aid on the spot, but the situation did not improve.

Immediately after that, the kindergarten contacted the family to take the child to Vinh Hao Commune Health Station for emergency treatment. However, the child died later.
After receiving the information, Vinh Hao Commune People's Committee directed forces to coordinate in verifying, and at the same time organized visits, condolences and supported the victim's family with 5 million VND. The family organized an funeral for the baby.
Leaders of the Commune People's Committee said that at the time of the incident, the kindergarten had surveillance cameras.
The locality quickly reported to higher authorities and temporarily suspended the operation of the kindergarten to serve the investigation.
