At about 4 am on March 16, a fire occurred at an apartment on the 9th floor, building E4, Ecohome 1 apartment building (Dong Ngac ward, Hanoi).
According to witnesses, immediately after detecting smoke and fire, the Management Board, the Building Management Board and many residents quickly used on-site fire fighting equipment to control the fire, and at the same time notified the functional forces.
After detecting the fire, on-site firefighters and many residents participated in firefighting, coordinating with the Fire and Rescue Team No. 17 (Fire and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police) to rescue and move residents to a safe location.
The fire caused insignificant property damage. The preliminary cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit in the socket during charging in the living room area at the apartment on the 9th floor of building E4, Ecohome 1 apartment building.
