On April 28, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 5 (under the Fire and Rescue Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police) said that at about 10 pm on April 27, a fire occurred at a car tire repair and replacement facility in Bac village, Nam Ninh Hoa commune.
According to initial information, this facility is owned by Mr. Tong Duc Hoa (born in 1968, residing in Bac village). The fire was discovered by people and quickly reported to the functional forces.
Immediately after receiving the news, local forces of Nam Ninh Hoa commune urgently arrived, deployed initial firefighting measures, and at the same time supported the relocation of people and property out of the dangerous area.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Team of Region 5 dispatched 3 specialized fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate in extinguishing the fire.
Because inside the facility contained many flammable materials such as rubber and grease, the fire broke out strongly and spread quickly, causing difficulties for firefighting.
After more than 2 hours of effort, functional forces completely controlled the fire, preventing it from spreading to adjacent houses.
The fire did not cause any casualties, but heavy property damage. Currently, functional agencies are statistically analyzing and clarifying the cause of the fire.
