On the morning of April 26, Gia Lai Provincial Police urgently mobilized forces, coordinated with units to control a large fire that occurred at Tan Dai Hung General Co., Ltd. (Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Quy Nhon Dong ward).
According to initial information, at about 1 am on the same day, a fire broke out at the company's factory. The fire spread quickly, flared up fiercely, black smoke rose high, covering the area; people about 3km away could still observe.
Immediately upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police dispatched many specialized fire trucks and hundreds of officers and soldiers to quickly approach the scene and deploy fire fighting plans.
Due to the seriousness of the fire, the Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police assigned Colonel Ngo Cu Vinh - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police - to directly direct firefighting and coordinate forces and vehicles.
Many businesses in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone also mobilized vehicles and personnel to support and coordinate with professional fire prevention and fighting forces to control the fire and prevent it from spreading.
By about 7 am on the same day, the fire was basically controlled, ensuring safety for people, and at the same time saving a large amount of property and machinery of the enterprise.
Currently, the cause and extent of damage are being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
Tan Dai Hung General Co., Ltd. has an area of more than 42,000m2, with a total investment of over 146 billion VND, operating since 2023, specializing in producing interior and exterior furniture, faux rattan plastic and mechanical processing.
