At about 6:40 p.m. on October 4, a fire broke out in the parking tunnel of a 6-storey building at 152 Thuy Khue (Tay Ho Ward, Hanoi). The authorities are actively controlling the fire. Initial information said that there were no casualties.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police (PCCC&CNCH) dispatched about 2 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate with local authorities and ward police to put out the fire. Not long after, the fire was controlled; initially, no casualties were recorded.
According to local residents, the fire caused white smoke to come out of the basement area, with a burning smell spreading across Thuy Khue Street near the fire site.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the authorities and property damage is being counted.
