The warehouse of a household in Dong Ha ward (Quang Tri) caught fire overnight, burning all goods and many properties, fortunately there were no casualties.

In the early morning of November 13, a major fire broke out at the warehouse of Ms. Hoang Thi Huong's family in Quarter 1, Dong Ha Ward (Quang Tri), burning all goods, means of transportation and many items in the house.

According to initial information, from about 0:10 to 3:00 a.m. the same day, people discovered a fire rising fiercely from the warehouse of B.C Trading & Service Company Limited on Le Duan Street.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Quang Tri Province quickly dispatched vehicles, officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate with Dong Ha Ward Police and people to put out the fire.

After many hours of effort, by 7am, the fire was basically under control. The fire did not cause any human casualties but caused great property damage, many goods and items in the warehouse were completely burned down.

On the morning of November 13, a delegation of leaders of Dong Ha ward led by Mr. Le Quang Viet Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee - visited, encouraged and presented 5 million VND in support to Ms. Hoang Thi Huong's family.

Mr. Son expressed his deep sympathy for the family's damage, and praised the timely spirit of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Family Coordination Team and the neighborhood residents for helping to control the fire, contributing to limiting damage.

Authorities are continuing to examine the scene and collect statements to clarify the cause of the fire.
