Dive to find a missing man under Thac Mo hydroelectric lake after his boat capsized

Dong Nai - Search and rescue forces are searching for a man whose boat capsized while picking coffee.

At 9:30 a.m. on November 13, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Dong Nai Province Police coordinated with local forces to actively search for the case of a coffee boat capsizing, causing one person to be swept away by water and go missing.

The victim was Mr. L.V.T (47 years old, residing in Long Khanh ward, Dong Nai province).

Previously, at around 6:00 p.m. on November 12, Mr. T and Mr. T.Q.Th (58 years old, living in Nghia Trung commune) rowed a boat carrying coffee from the 38 bridge area through Thac Mo hydropower reservoir.

While paddling out to the middle of the river, the boat suddenly overturned, causing both people and goods to fall into the water. Mr. T.Q.Th was lucky to swim to shore. Mr. T, his boat and coffee sank into the water and went missing.

Currently, many officers and soldiers are searching for the victim, and are checking the surrounding areas to search.

At the scene, because the area where the boat capsized was quite wide and the water was deep, the search was quite difficult.
