According to the leader of Thien Huong Ward People's Committee, to relocate the house from the land of Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan's family, Mr. Do Van Huu's household must complete the procedures to apply for a construction permit according to regulations. Mr. Huu's family has also completed all procedures to apply for a license to relocate the house to the correct location of the land plot they own.
On November 13, at the relocation project of Mr. Do Van Huu's house, the group of "genie lights" were still working normally. On the land of Mr. Huu's family, the pile foundation has also been basically completed, ready for the house connection. Previously, according to Mr. Do Van Huu, the time to move the house to the right plot of land for the family was about 40 days. However, the "genie" said that due to the weather in recent days, moving the house took longer than expected.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong, in September 2024, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan and her husband received a transfer of land use rights with an area of 60 m2 at plot No. 4856, map sheet No. 03 issued by the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city (old) on October 19, 2024. However, on November 12, 2024, when Ms. Loan's family came to inspect, they suddenly saw that the land had been occupied by Mr. Do Van Huu's family to build a 2-storey house.
Mr. Do Van Huu said that the construction of a house on the land of Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan was due to a mistake, because Mr. Do Van Huu's family also bought a plot of land, 4 plots from the location of this plot. The People's Committee of the commune has repeatedly requested to stop construction at the wrong location. However, Mr. Huu's family still deliberately continues to build and complete the house. Therefore, Ms. Loan and her husband filed a lawsuit.
The People's Court of Region I - Hai Phong held a first-instance trial of the case, forcing Mr. Do Van Huu to move all his belongings, dismantle all construction works on the land, and return them to Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan and her husband.
The People's Committee of the ward also mobilized Ms. Loan to resell the land to Mr. Huu's family. However, due to the two families' inability to reach an agreement, Ms. Loan's family created conditions for Mr. Huu to move the project. When moving, Mr. Huu's family committed to ensuring safety, construction order and the environment.
