According to Hoa Lac Commune Police, An Giang Province, at around 6:30 p.m. on September 8, 2025, they received a phone report from the people about a fire that occurred in Group 09, Hoa Phat Hamlet, Hoa Lac Commune.
Specifically, at around 6:20 p.m. on September 8, Mr. Le Van T (born in 1971, permanent resident of Hoa Phat Hamlet, Hoa Lac Commune) saw Mr. Pham Qui T's house (born in 1980) on fire close to the wall, at the same time left incense on the altar in the main house and then spread to the neighboring houses.
Because Mr. Qui T's house locked the door inside, Mr. Van T could not enter, so he shouted to the surrounding people to put out the fire and called the local authorities.
At around 8:00 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.
The preliminary incident did not cause any human casualties, only property damage, including 3 completely burned houses and 1 house on fire.
Initial verification at the scene, the initial cause was suspected to be incense burning but no one was watching, causing the fire.
